Embracing sadness

Not many agree with this, but embracing sadness is necessary. People say when you’re sad, think about all the positive things. Don’t think too much about your problems. I think you should think about your problems. If you go on denying that you are sad, it’ll only  go away from your conscious mind, but not your subconscious. In reality you’re not okay. In reality u need some self reflection. But you won’t know that because you’re too scared to feel sad.

Feel it and come out of it. Don’t run away from it. Because the running will be like running on a treadmill… you’ll  be running and tiring yourself, but it won’t get you anywhere. You’ll be in the same place. You’ll just be tired or distracted enough to ‘forget’ the pain. The pain however, will still be there.
That, is not the solution to your sadness. Being positive is not always helpful. Think about what’s bothering u and come up with a solution.
Embrace your sadness and come out of it, you are strong enough to do that.
What are your thoughts on dealing with sadness?

We all have to start somewhere, but it’s important to start by believing in yourself.

Yes.. I guess u are right.. It’s just that believing is the most difficult hurdle. And then again, what if u start believing yourself and something puts you right back at where you started? What if you realise you weren’t being real?

That is the learning experience. Wouldn’t you want to know you were on the wrong path or that you needed education, a mentor, or a little help along the way? Usually if there is the will, there is a way. We are all born with latent (sleeping) talents and gifts. Your journey on this earth is to find your gems of natural ability and polish your raw, rare stones to release their energy, color, fire, and beauty. Don’t give up … look harder and work harder. Best of luck in finding your true calling.

I wallow in it, deal with it. Or try to anyway.. I learned early on that ignoring it won’t do me much good but being sad all the time won’t either.

Yes, you should know to find balance between the two things! Running away from sadness won’t help, but being stuck with it won’t help either!

  4. So heart touching and true… I dont know how many thinks like the way u do. Bt defenitly Iam not one among them. I hav seen many people in my life advising others in their difficult stage, not to think abt their actual problms and to keep possitive thoughts… But Iam totally aganist that… Life is a mixture of all feelings and running away from any of those hard times is not a solution… Its ok to bear some pain and to find a solution for that problem rather than running away from it for a lifetime…
